Snowbird I (Italy)

In the winter of 2020, Idlefield embarked on its first creative recording project: Establishing a recording residency in the village of Riofreddo, Italy. Guided by chance and collaboration, the recordings produced during this period are peppered with bird song and church bells, and the ad-hoc percussion created from available sources: pots and pans, brooms, couches.
